Six special serial killers
Dennis
Nilsen
Dennis
Nilsen is a serial killer from England. He claimed a total of 12 victims. He
now serves a life sentence and he is 70-years-old.
Now, the
special thing about Nilsen is the way he treated his victims. After he killed
his victims he would often talk to them, eat with them and sleep with them… Sometimes
for weeks long. His motive? – He was lonely.
H. H.
Holmes
Read
more about him: H. H. Holmes.
What
makes Holmes so special is his way of thinking. Even though it wasn’t difficult
to get away with what he did around the time he lived, he thought about everything.
It’s because of that, that no one knew he was building a Murder Castle… Not a
hotel.
Robert
Hansen
Robert
Hansen is an American serial killer. He used to kidnap woman and fly them to a
forest… There, he would hunt them down with a rifle and a bow and arrow. There
was no escape for them. He killed at least seventeen people.
The way
he played this hunt-and-kill game is what makes him stand out from other serial
killers.
David
Berkowitz
David Berkowitz
(62), also known as The Son of Sam, is an American serial killer. He now serves
six life sentences. He killed six and wounded seven people during his killing
spree in New York.
Berkowitz
had voices in his head. He believed that the voices were demons… and the demons
wanted blood. So Berkowitz went out on the streets of New York, ready to give
his demons what they wanted.
Ted
Bundy
Read
more about him: Ted Bundy.
Ted
Bundy is a very special serial killer. During the time of his murders he was a
suspect twice. However, the police did not further investigate him. Why? He was
a law student and politically active. He didn’t seem like he would be a serial
killer.
The
second reason why Bundy is special is because he escaped, twice. Bundy was very
smart so when he was arrested, he wanted to be his own lawyer. He asked
permission to the library and he got it. He went to the library to prepare his
case… He then jumped out of the window and ran.
The
second time he escaped, he got a hacksaw from another inmate and he went to
work, cutting a one-foot square hole in his cell ceiling that led to a crawl
space. His escape wasn’t noticed until
17 hours after.
The
third reason he is special, is because of his intelligence again. Bundy was a
very charming man, so he already had an advantage, which he used. He would pretend
to be hurt, he would have his arm in a sling and ask girls to help him. Those
girls would never be seen again.
Special:
Ed Gein
Now, Ed
Gein isn’t really a serial killer. He only had two victims. However, most
people do consider him a serial killer because it could easily be possible. I
think he deserves a place on this list.
Gein
used to go to graveyards and dig up bodies. He would use the body parts to make
furniture or other things for in his house. He had a lamp made out of human
body parts, he had chars covered with human leather, skulls bowls… The list
just goes on and on.
When the
police entered his house, they had to enter through his shed. In his shed was
his second victim, hanging from the ceiling with her body gutted out like a
deer and decapitated.
