How do they kill?

Stranglers

The main reason why serial killers strangle their victims is because then they kill with their own hands. There is physical contact between the victim and the serial killer. This is very important to most serial killers since the physical contact and the sexual contact that comes with that, is the reason they kill.

Poisoners

Poisoning is mostly used by woman. It seems like a very peaceful way to die but it can be just as brutal as the other ways to kill.

We see poisoning the most with angels of death. With the term ‘Angels of death’ we refer to nurses who use an overdose medicine to kill their victims.

Shooters

Most people think that serial killers murder their victims by shooting them. However, that is not the case. Like we said earlier, serial killers love the physical and sexual contact with the victim… You don’t have that type of contact when you shoot your victim.

There are still plenty of serial killers who did shoot their victims.

Ax murders

Ax murders is probably one of the oldest methods in this list. It’s now replaced by stabbing. A long time ago it was normal for people to have an ax in their house, it was an object that they used a lot. So when you wanted to kill someone… You could easily grab your ax. 

Rippers

The term ‘Ripper’ is maybe one of the most well-known terms with serial killers, like Jack the Ripper. What ripper stands for is actually more gruesome than you could imagine. The literal meaning is: ‘When the victim’s corpse has been subjected to horrific mutilation, particularly ‘’when the body has been opened and parts (intestines genitals) torn out.’

If you see the word ‘Ripper’ in their nicknames, you know what they did.

Torture

Now torture doesn’t need much explaining. As we know, torture is not meant for killing victims. It’s just to hurt them. However, a lot of serial killers seem to enjoy to torture their victims before they kill them.
